Marketing Manager, Germany and Austria F/M/D


This is a full-time role based out of our Paris office reporting to the Head of Germany & Austria.


About the role


Vestiaire Collective is looking for a Marketing Manager Germany / Austria (DAT), to be responsible for the brand marketing strategy of the German and Austrian markets. This is a full-time role based out of our Paris or Berlin office reporting to the Head of the market (DAT). You will be part of the regional team, working closely with the global marketing team and other regional marketing teams.


You will be in charge of developing the yearly branding strategy and calendar to grow the awareness and drive consideration in your region, in line with Vestiaire Collective global positioning and strategy.


You will have ownership on piloting the yearly branding budget and will be the main point of contact for the internal digital branding team and the media agency for the execution of the media plan. You will lead the execution of all local activations, including creative briefs, contracting and implementation of the activity end to end and reporting.


When it comes to PR and influence you will align and coordinate with the global team and local experts (inhouse and agencies) in order to ensure the coherence of the strategy and planning.

What you’ll be doing



Working closely with the head of Market, and in agreement with our global goals, you will define the strategic aims for the region and define the roadmap and priorities to achieve those objectives.
You will create the local marketing strategy, identify competitive insights to guide decision making and translate them into innovative and creative campaigns, messaging, assets.
You will build Vestiaire’s brand awareness in your market and grow the community via brand marketing campaigns (global and local).
You will build and own the marketing calendar of Germany / Austria and its implementation by working closely with the regional and global marketing functions to develop locally relevant activations via local events, sponsorships, marketing stunts and marketing partnerships.
You will own the marketing budget allocated to maximize impact and ROI of your activations.

Who you are



You have at least 5 years of marketing experience, with a strong experience in e-commerce.
You have excellent marketing planning skills and an in-depth knowledge of all marketing functions incl. strong various Offline and Online Marketing Channels and Media.
You have deep knowledge of Social Media platforms and influencers landscape, basic understanding of the various performance channels.
You have analytical skills to take into consideration consumer insights/trends combined with a creative mindset to translate them into winning brand moments and activations that are relevant for the consumers.
You have a strong knowledge of the German & Austrian markets.
You are highly engaged in the fashion world with a keen interest in sustainability; continually up on news and happenings in the industry.
You are known to be proactive and able to take initiative. A hands-on collaborative style of working is a must!
Fluency in English and German with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
