About the Job
Aftermarket Technology (AMT) is a global entity working to maximize the uptime of vehicles for Volvo Group Trucks brands. Customers' success is our focus.
Active in all R&D activities, we are engaged in developing future technologies for both vehicles and uptime services. We are focusing on connectivity, digitization and predictive care for our customers.
We are accountable for the maintainability of vehicles by influencing design and the technology choices, we make our vehicles and components easy to maintain, and we improve the vehicle uptime, customers' success and thus the Volvo Group profitability. For each vehicle launched on the market, we deliver Operations and procedures, Spare Parts assortment and information, Repair and Maintenance Solutions, Diagnostic solutions, Special Tools and Standard Times.

As a Manager for SPAE, you will BE responsible for leading and developing Service and Parts Assortment Engineering solutions in powertrain, new driveline and e-axles, foster an innovative and engaging culture where we attract and retain talent nurturing to develop future technologies for uptime services.
In this role, you will drive teams' deliveries, efficiency and effectiveness in close collaboration with global management team, and drive strategy and continuous improvement initiatives together with different functions and stakeholders.
You are expected to contribute and develop quality initiatives for securing built-in quality of our products, and support with knowledge management initiatives together with global team.

Qualifications- You have significant experience from truck or automotive development and from powertrain or truck systems. You have good understanding of vehicle system architecture, service & spare parts solutions required for vehicle uptime.
- You have a bachelors or preferably a master's degree in engineering or similar, 10+ years of experience and a genuine passion for product development. We are working in an agile inspired set-up and are in the middle of transition from projects to product streams so experience from agile ways of working is an advantage.
- You enjoy people development and technology and continuously work to improve yourself and the people you interact with. You learn quickly when faced with new issues and take your own initiatives. The environment is dynamic, fast-paced and requires a positive go-getter attitude.
- You have previous experience in leading team in a global multi-cultural organization, comfortable in leading and interacting with stakeholders from other functions and departments.
As a leader, you have a coaching style with a can-do attitude. You are passionate about new technology, and work with simplicity, empowerment and accountability. You have a strong customer focus and a structured, analytical mindset.
