Position description: •To ensure the sales and profitability targets are realized for the region(s) by being Technical assistance and interface with our current and future customers
Manage the technical assistance to customers ensuring an optimal fit of Ahlstrom-Munksjö value proposition to customers technical needs
Main responsibilities • To ensure the understanding of customer’s production process and identify challenges and problems in the process in order to solve customer’s problems with Ahlstrom solutions
To support sales in Uncovering the Needs and Preparing the Solution for the customer
Coordinate claim management and improvement plans
To provide technical training for Sales people
To build a network within the customers' organization to enable access to information about the process and performance of our products
To represent the customer’s technical requirements to the production and product development
To ensure successful customer introduction of Ahlstrom products in their processes by attending, contributing and documenting the results of customer trial
To provide information to product development and supply chain as needed
To build leadership and competencies to achieve high performance culture according to Ahlstrom Munksjö leadership expectations
Contribute to achieve safety/environment targets, as well as efficiency performances
To be the backup of the plant quality manager
To ensure plant on call duties (several weeks per year)
Qualifications: - M.S. or Ph.D. in chemistry, chemical engineering, paper/textile technology or equivalent
At least 3 years of experience in managing technical customer service processes
Experience of resource management
End to end process understanding
Strong problem solving and quality methodology skills
Fluency in French and English; Italian or German knowledge is an advantage
Ability to coach and manage team and projects
Excellent communications and interpersonal skills
Able to develop close networking relationships at all level of organization, in different languages and cultures
Excellent organizational skills
Availability for travelling
