Roles and responsibilities
Bourbon recruits a Category Manager Engine / Propulsion
Mission
Improve procurement of Engine / Propulsion category : Strategy, Supplier Panel, Sourcing contracts and frame agreements, Supplier Relationship (performance management and Business Reviews)
Duties & Responsibilities
Create his/her category strategy and obtain approval by Stand Alone Companies
Collect and understand the needs with the Technical Leader
Study the Market supply/demand balance
Build up a category strategy and supplier panel with a concrete implementation plan
Frame the supplier panel and the AVL (approved Vendor List). Qualifiy new suppliers if needed
Negotiate Supplier Agreements
Ensure the application of the negotiated price in Bourbon Group
Be accountable for economic performance
Monitor Supplier Performance
Undertake audits on subcontractors according to QHSE Plan
Organize and manage Business Reviews with his/her main suppliers. Liaise internally before with all stakeholders
Ensure the coordination of priorities for Cash-Out priorities for his/her Category and relevant communication toward suppliers. Act as a focal point toward the suppliers of his/her category.
Review quarterly client non conformities with customer service and take actions with suppliers if needed
Manage directly special request from clients concerning category management (new area of operation, new sourcings…)
Be in charge of transversal subjects for the Procurement function
