Position Description:

The Field Service Team installs, commissions, troubleshoots and repairs Flowserve’s pumps and equipment for our customers in industries such as oil and gas, chemical, nuclear, coal, and waste water industries. The FS Manager overviews the fulfillment of the Annual Operating Plan for the region, ensuring the organization meets the utilization targets, and the team exceeds customer expectations. The FS Manager act as a mentor for the FS Supervisor / Coordinators with regards the implementation of the Onsite Services Operating Model.

People. To lead a culture of ongoing development for yourself and individuals within the team. Ensure we have trained Field Service Technicians to support all specialty equipment. Make sure that the expertise/qualification levels of our FSTs are well balanced and are adequate for the installed base and services to be provided. People. To recruit and retain a global and diverse workforce for the present and future, ensuring the Succession plans are in place for the critical roles within the team. People. Fully commitment to Safety . Together with the Onsite Services SHEA team, to identify the risks that the team members are facing inside our customer premises. Ensure the completion of the JSEA in all the onsite jobs. Process and Technology . To support the standardization of our reporting tools and dashboards. To lead the team towards utilizing the same systems (AMP, FSP), services and documentation like job paperwork, installation/ commissioning checklist, standard trip reports, etc. Process and Technology . Collaborate with Sales / Engineering / ComOpss / Product management to support and develop new business growth opportunities. Develop and get approvals for additional HC in those regions/markets where it is justified. Process and Technology . Ensure alignment with the Onsite Services – FST Operating Model. All roles, responsibilities, and objectives defined (KRAs for all the team members), Training Plans defined and loaded in LMS. Financials. Understand and execute Annual Operating Plan (AOP) in a manner that results in sales and profitability growth at or above the agreed budget expectations. Manage the weekly open order call for bookings, shipments and OI Forecast. Maximize the FSTs utilization. Financials. Drive down the job close out cycle time, ensure quick invoicing and collection of receivables as a contributor to the Primary Working Capital Optimization. Analyze, review and escalate any potential problematic / Low Cost Margin job to the Onsite Services Director / Sales Leadership. Financials. Create capital plans and justifications for new Tools and Systems. Analyze the market trends for new products and services, and ensure we have the adequate vendors and agreements to deliver them to our customers (for instance Augmented Reality products, new alignment/machining devices, etc..). Customers. Maximize customer satisfaction, track the FST Availability and Responsiveness through Aftermarket and Field Service Portal. Customer. Timely, transparent and effective corrective action communication with our customers. Control that all the corrective actions are communicated within the entire team and responsible BU. Measure, analyze and control that the warranty services are reduced on a yearly basis.

Must hold a relevant mechanical/engineering degree and preferably a post graduate or equivalent qualification Five+ years of experience in mechanical field service required. Skilled and knowledgeable in the operation of field service/remote working, including the use of information technology to maximize efficiency. Experience in the chemical, power, and/or oil and gas industries preferred. 5+ years of supervisory or other leadership experience that demonstrates an ability to lead, motivate, and develop others preferred. Ability to develop and sustain a vision of technical excellence and customer service that is shared by the entire team. Must have a collaborative style that encourages the free flow of communication, removes obstacles, and promotes problem solving and teamwork. Professional written and verbal communication skills: must be able describe the business with metrics, use business data to present recommendations, explain problems and articulate the thinking behind recommendations. Proficient in both spoken and written English in addition to local language. Experience in project planning of complex jobs. Capable in Outlook, Word and Excel and other IT systems/processes. Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and schematics. Must be able to travel up to 50% of the time with overnight stays as required. Must have a valid driver’s license with a good driving record-
