You are experienced in microprocessor-based system development and want to drive the product strategy for the next generation microprocessors, software solutions, companion ICs and services. You are a respected leader and passionate to coordinate relations amongst pluri-disciplined team members and partners.

Key player in the definition the long-term product strategy for Microchip’s ARM Cortex-A Microprocessor and associated Total System Solutions (Hardware, Software and Services) Responsible for the Analysis of market trends and competition Identification of target markets with high revenue growth potential Definition of product and ecosystem requirements Product positioning and pricing strategy Business case and ROI Develop relationships with TSS partners

Work closely with business development, application and design teams plus lead customers to define product requirements and use cases. Track the development progress vs objectives and generate high standard reports for the executive management team. Participate in the definition of creative marketing programs and account development plans to grow business and market share.
Coordinate product launches, training of the sales force and regional marketing teams to sell the product line’s devices. Cooperate with product marketing from other Microchip divisions, regional design centers and partners to promote system solutions. Develop initiatives to demonstrate the device’s capabilities in target applications and for demand creation
Perform in project leadership role, Coordinate activities of other personnel across the organization as a team lead Offer new solutions or direction and encourage and motivate others to support new solution or direction Interact with management and senior external personnel on matters requiring coordination across internal groups Advising senior management on specialized technical or business issues. Networking with key contacts outside own area of expertise

Job Requirements

Experience in MPU based system development

Technical background in MPUs and related development tools and software (eg Linux, RTOS)

Effective communication skills over cross-cultural boundaries

Fluent in English (read, written and spoken)

Familiar with foreign markets, business environments and cultures
