Description of the team :


The Marketing team is undergoing a strategic transformation to sharpen the execution of our ambitious mission in support of the overall Murex growth plan. An agile methodology adapted for the marketing discipline is used, which complements the SAFe organisation of our product division.

Within the Product Marketing team, we are sharpening our sales enablement and market analysis & insight activities, while also focusing on proposition development for targeted market segments in order to clarify, harness and strengthen Murex’s product-market fit, which in turn amplifies revenue and profitability.


The nature of product marketing involves collaboration with a wide group of internal and external stakeholders. These include product managers and domain managers, pre-sales, business developers and client managers within Murex, while key external stakeholders include Systems Integrator, technology and risk advisor partners, research analysts, prospects and clients.


Typical deliverables:


Producing sales supports (roadmaps, battle cards, client case studies)

Compelling proposition messaging for promotional assets (animated videos,

published articles, whitepapers)


Proposition document for a new or existing offering that includes messaging

adapted for the target market segments and buyer personas.


Competitive landscape market research document for a given offering.


JOB requirements

Profile :


Our Marketing team is looking for a product marketing manager with a track record of both client- facing delivery (e.g. implementation, support, pre-sales, sales) in capital markets software projects and a deep understanding of the MX.3 platform to ensure that the Murex product offering continues to address the needs of an ever-evolving marketplace.


At least 7 years of experience in capital markets including a strong understanding of large systems transformation projects within capital markets.

Deep knowledge of at least one main capital markets business domain essential (e.g.

trading, risk management, operations, finance etc.). Two or more a distinct advantage.


Autonomous, self-driven, ability to work collaboratively on multiple projects

Excellent collaborative skills with multiple internal teams and external stakeholders

Pragmatism, method, rigor and creativity in approach

Experience of contributing “thought leadership” content preferred e.g. presentation, article or video for an external audience.

Strong grounding in the technology enablers of capital markets platforms including systems architecture, the technology stack, market infrastructure connectivity and integration, data flows and data management preferred.

Understanding of disrupting technology enablers including cloud, DLT, NoSQL databases, web APIs, Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning. Functional knowledge of MX.3 as a user in one business domain is a plus.

Good understanding of agile project management methodology is an asset

To sum up the ideal candidate will:


have a deep understanding of the market ecosystem – key players, market dynamics, regulations, competitor vendors, competitive trends, M&A activity – in one or more business domains.

demonstrates client and end-user empathy – a clear understanding of the buyer journey from internal business case preparation through to system evaluation, implementation and post- go-live support and enrichment.

have experience of two or more systems implementation or upgrade projects in capital markets.

have the ability to analyse a market with multiple signals and information sources, and succinctly discern and communicate internally on different customer segments’ needs.

can discern and communicate on differentiating Murex value propositions that meet identified market needs.

have experience of leading initiatives and delivering high value outcomes with cross- functional and cross-location team members.

have contributed to, or led the writing of, one or more published whitepapers or client case studies, have presented at an industry conference or have delivered comparable thought leadership assets.
