ABOUT THE JOB
Back Market is looking for an Office Manager who will be responsible for keeping the office in Paris running smoothly. Reporting to Pierre, our Head of Culture, this role will be overseeing administrative support in relation to office supplies, visitors as well as onboarding of new hires.
WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING
Collaborate with the People & Culture team based in Bordeaux and NYC, acting as Back Market’s values ambassador and actively contribute to the successful onboarding of new hires while providing an inspiring team life at the Paris office.Purchase office supplies, snacks, beverages, and weekly lunches through a network of various vendors, and manage receipts and invoices for budget tracking.Welcome external visitors (providers, job candidates) on a daily basis.Sort & distribute incoming and outgoing mail, packages, and orders in a timely and precise manner.Ensure the proper maintenance of the facilities and act as the main point of contact for the building management company.Ensure the proper application of health and safety rules within the premises (purchase covid personal protective equipment / sanitary measures, etc.)Make the office a fun place to be! Ensure that it is clean, welcoming, and full of good vibes.
A minimum of 3 years of successful experience in office management, in a similar environment.
Ideally fluent in both French and English, with excellent writing skills in both for effective collaboration with the US & FR teams.
Detail-oriented with demonstrated ability to multitask with a high level of initiative and motivation.
Skilled at combining the sense of confidentiality required for this type of position with a genuine People Care attitude.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
