Responsibilities
The individual is responsible to tie out the forecast by product line to the financial plans by market (International Business) by month.
Works closely with the leadership of marketing/sales, country managers for direct markets and commercial teams (and distributors) for indirect markets for assigned market(s) and franchise(s)
Acts of the conduit from the commercial side of the business into the supply/inventory planning team.
Supports Customer Service team in establishing allocation of limited supply when it arises.
Prepare and lead the Sales & Operations Planning process meetings and produce consensus Sales Forecasts each month
Identify and loads data into Oracle or other systems as required
Control, plan, directs and manages the regional supply chain to ensure customer demand fulfilment is balanced with service, delivery, and stock performance
Optimizes the overall cost of ownership of materials and services at each link of the supply chain
Provide Customer Service reporting on Product Availability as assigned.
Provide KPI reporting on forecasts, forecast accuracy, and new product introductions
Provide KPI reporting on supply, inventory, and supply chain costs that include customer service, inventory, and new product introductions
Assist with development of requirements, test scripts, and implementation of upgrades to Oracle and with any new supply planning software and process improvements
Coordinate country or region-specific tasks, such as kitting and labelling
Perform other related duties as assigned
Qualifications
College Degree in related field - advanced degree a plus
APICS certification a plus
Strong English Language and communication skills, written and spoken
Ability to verbal and written skills in Japanese Language is a plus.
3 – 5 years in supply or demand planning, or supply chain experience
Preferred experience with ERP systems and planning software – Oracle, SAP and demand planning tools is a plus
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Proficient to advanced Microsoft Excel skills; Microsoft Access skills a plus
Ability to work with Demand Planning forecast software
Ability to travel up to 10%
Ability to communicate well with all levels of staff and with other departments. Good negotiation and feedback skills
