It is a key role for both the Supply Chain and the Global Brands team, supporting the overall business, financial and supply chain planning for the brands. The role will be located in Paris.
Provide support to the global brand by assisting the development of new product forecasting guidelines for all markets. Work closely with the Global Marketing, Product Development and GBSC Teams in supporting to develop business plans as projects move through the Innovation process. Communicate forecast guidelines to the regions and assist them in incorporating them into their business plans. Monitor brand sales trends for across all Regions and Markets and provide ad-hoc demand analytics to support brand myriad lead initiatives. In particular, provide support for the annual strategy and Long Term Planning process. Review and monitor the alignment of the Demand Plan and Financial Estimate to understand reconciliation between them as part of the larger SIOP Process.
Support the development of new product forecasting guidelines for all markets working closely with Global Marketing and Product Development as part of the Brand and Corporate Innovation Process. Work closely with Regional Brand and Demand Planning Teams to assure robust business plans are put in place.
Assist in business analytics to support the global Brand. This includes the issuance of several standard monthly and quarterly reports as well as general ad-hoc analyses. For all standard reports provide a summary of findings and recommendations to allow the brand to address risks and opportunities to the Brand's Monthly, Quarterly and Annual Operating Plan.
Review and monitor the alignment of the Demand Plan and Financial Estimate to understand reconciliation between them as part of the large Sales Inventory and Operations Planning (SIOP) process.
Assist the Brand with the SKU Portfolio Management process. Monitor the planned phase outs of existing items and assure they are timed with any linked successor SKU launches.
Recap Non-Saleable product portfolio which includes Holiday Sets and Gifts.
Collaborates with the supply planning organization to proactively communicate demand changes and work service and inventory impacts.
Leads Forecast Accuracy improvement plan for the brand through thorough root cause analysis and action planning where appropriate.
Works to continuously improve Demand Planning work processes
Qualifications
Qualifications:
5 years of experience in Supply Chain with minimum 1,5 year of experience in Demand Planning
Strong analytical skills : must feel comfortable working with several sources of data and information to identify relevant insights
Effective time management and organization
Strong personal computer skills required, proficiency in the use of excel, including advanced spreadsheet tools.
Strong leadership & communication skills: ability to defend your point of view and work confidently with various levels in the organization
English must have, French is desirable
