Ankorstore is seeking a world class candidate for the role of Global Social Media Manager. This is an incredible opportunity to build our brand and fuel its future growth.


The right candidate is a storyteller who will strengthen and support our community and advocate for our brands and retailers across social channels. The ideal candidate will know social platforms inside and out and have a love for independent retail.


You will develop a social content calendar to engage with our users through brand and product campaigns. As an expert on social trends, metrics, and content creation for social platforms, you should have an eye on the European marketplace and understanding of social content that resonates.


JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

Manage our global pages (insta facebook…) Drive social content strategy for global campaigns spanning tentpole, brand and product animations Execute campaigns including ideation, launch, monitoring, and analysis with support from creative agencies and internal teams Develop agency briefs and manage communications for global brand content and campaigns, collaborating with cross-functional partners to ensure deliverables align with overarching strategy for the program Build effective agency relationships Develop standards, expertise, and best practices within Social to inform and scale across all marketing and channel platforms. Monitor and apply learnings for the ongoing development of global platforms on Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, TikTok and others.

SPECIFIC SKILLS:

Must have an excellent understanding and knowledge of each social media platform from a brand marketing perspective, including platform updates, paid media formats, corresponding rules/laws, changing offerings, news, analytics, and reporting tools across desktop and mobile Must have experience in brand communication strategy on social media In-depth experience with content marketing with keen eye for brand codes and tone of voice Must have experience working cross-functionally and with agencies to develop campaigns and content that engage and create increased interest in the brand An understanding of the European marketplace and cultural nuances as it relates to social media content Monitor trends via real-time reporting and identify ways the company can leverage current topics of interest.

THE ESSENTIALS

5+ years of experience in marketing and social media English Native speaker A strong work ethic and ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize accordingly Collaborative and clear ability to work cross functionally Adaptable and a team player. High growth startup experience is a plus.

Ankorstore was founded in 2019 and has recently closed a $100 million Series B funding. We already have over 100 employees and want to continue to scale strongly, which is why we are building a fully remote Brand & Marketing Team. We have offices in 5 European countries if you'd like to use them. We will be meeting regularly, most likely in Paris.
