Paid Social Media Analyst (H/F)


Position Summary


Enhancing the performance of consumer connections is at the core of our Digital Marketing global roadmap and broader Marketing Transformation; therefore, digital media continues to play an ever-increasing critical role in connecting our brands (Absolut Vodka, Jameson, Chivas Regal, Havana Club, Ballantine’s and more than 200 in the portfolio) directly with our consumers and, just as importantly, shoppers.  


To transform the company through data and ensure our social media drive business results via data-driven decision-making, we are looking for a Social Media Project Manager to join our Global Digital Marketing team at the Headquarters.


Reporting to the Global Media Leader, this role will lead our Social Media strategic approach and roadmap across the Group, with the goal to ensure our Social Media architecture is designed in a transparent and effective way, to support the strategy and execution of our local Media teams by partnering with Social Media partners in order to provide maximum benefits though the global partnership across the globe.


Key Responsibilities


GROUP GLOBAL SOCIAL MEDIA ROAD MAP



Shape the Social media strategy for the Group by identifying the key areas to drive and enhance in order to meet Group expectations of transparent and consumer-centric activations across Social Media networks
Collaborate with our media platform partners (Meta, Pinterest, TikTok, Twitter…) to leverage their products and data and be able to share the best practice on reaching prospective or high-affinity audiences and generating actionable insights to drive higher engagement & performance

OPTIMISE AND ORGANISE SOCIAL MEDIA TAXONOMY TO MEET MAXIMUM EFFICIENCY AND CONSUMER-CENTRICITY


Assess and consolidate the approach in which the Group operates when it concerns the social media accounts architecture, ensuring the transparency and data ownership

Propose and rationalize the account structure for Organic and Paid Social accounts on Meta and other platforms
Give actionable recommendations on implementation process facing the change
Roll out the process of new taxonomy implementation, collaborating with Social Media partners teams as well as with Pernod Ricard affiliates, orchestrating and coordinating the roles and responsibilities with concrete timeline and delivery

DEVELOP AND ASSESS JOINT BUSINESS PLANS OPPORTUNITIES ON PAID SOCIAL MEDIA



Work hand-in-hand with key Social Media platforms in order to build strong partnerships
Lead the negotiation process with Social Media partners by proposing trading strategy and driving extra financial and execution value for brand and market affiliates
Orchestrate and lead the implementation of negotiated benefits to enhance Pernod Ricard media campaigns execution, capitalizing on innovations and data-centric approach

UPSKILL GROUP EXPERTISE BY CONTRIBUTING IN TRANSVERSAL BROADER MEDIA PROJECTS



Upskill the broader digital marketing and eCommerce community by supporting expertise trainings and during key regular forums
Collaborate with Content team on Influencer Marketing subjects by providing support and vision on influencer measurement across social media

Scope




Key internal stakeholders: Global Digital Marketing team; Affiliate Digital Marketing / Media teams; Regional Digital Marketing Centers of Excellence; HQ functions (Consumer Insight, Responsible Marketing, Marketing Effectiveness teams…)


Key external stakeholders: Social Media platforms (e.g. Meta, Pinterest…); key external media agencies; ad verification partners


Geography: 100% International


Experience/Qualifications/Skills


You will have:



A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in marketing management, online media or related relevant field
Minimum 2 years of hands-on relevant experience in social media at an internationally operating agency or advertiser
Solid understanding of international digital media landscape, including global social media platforms
Capacity to work cross-functionally and ability to navigate across affiliates with specificities and the agility to work with multicultural teams with various business & digital maturity levels
Critical and analytical lens to translate performance data and KPIs into actionable insights and recommendations
Solid communication skills, with the ability and credibility to tailor communication and drive change whether to operational teams or heads of function
Fluency (both written and spoken) in English. French language is a plus.
