Job Description:

Airbus Helicopters is looking for a Front-end developer transforming UX Design to operational Human Machine Interface (f/m) to join our Research and Innovation Department based inMarignane, France.

As part of the team, you will be involved in :

Participate to the UX design process, challenging the proposed design helping to converge to an operational result.

Translate UX design into operational/interactive Human Machine Interface SW.

Design and develop logics and algorithms needed to interface properly with the other systems.

Be passionate about innovation and motivated to transform emerging technologies into breakthrough products

Your challenges:

Participate to define challenging but achievable targets (use cases) where the human-machine interface remains essential to enable the crew to monitor and interact with the systems.

Understand and implement the UX strategy, participating to and challenging the design/validation processes.

Make the bridge between the design concepts and the operational result related to onboard application, i.e. closing the loop with various external systems.

Autonomously design and develop modules and functional blocks compatible with onboard systems.

Interface with other software teams (adapting to other software development methods/environments).

Ensure consistency throughout the prototype production cycle.

Main interfaces

Direct report to technical Team leader,

Manage External partners or suppliers,

Interact with internal relevant stakeholders,

Your Boarding Pass (Required skills):

Strong experience and skills in translating UX design into operational SW, (Evidence of skills / demonstration of participation and results on illustrative achievements on previous projects requested)

Ability to understand the finality of human machine interface,

Ability to understand the targeted use cases and to define the way to achieve and answer the best the objectives,

Strong experience with Figma and Design System.

Ability to develop control systems logics, and to apply mathematics on signal/interface. 

Mastering Environment and languages: Linux, C++, Lua, Python, MathLab/SimuLink, Git,

Mastering “RUPTURE” (AH HMI tool) will be a plus.

Experience on Agile development methods,

Sharing the values of engagement, transparency, courage, humility

Motivated and engaged, with ability to handle various topics autonomously,

Team player, with ability/flexibility to work in a collaborative way (daily interaction).

Negotiation level in English

This position will require business travel
