Job Description

MAIN FUNCTIONS:

Design for UsersProvide expert UX and UI design inputs to deliver the most attractive and efficient product to users Propose conceptual, stylistic and UX enhancements for digital, across responsive, mobile first, App, tablet and desktop platforms

MAJOR AREAS OF ACCOUNTABILITY:

UX design:
• Analyzing Business Needs
• Leading UX workshops (co-construction, sketching, Design Sprint, …)
• Design the digital user journey with expertise in human factors to propose consistent experiences (wireframes, user flows, personas, experience map, protoypes…)
• Design for conversion, customer satisfaction and revenue uplift, building from Data & ABtesting
• Leading User tests (protocols, interviews, …)
• Analyzing feedbacks
• Content design, in close co-operations with other departments

UI design:
• Conceptualization and design of features for Responsive Sites, Apps and conversational interfaces to their
completion.
• Produce clear design specs for Front End developers to develop the design
• Respect and adapt online guidelines
• Design user friendly components to be used on a Design System across desktop and mobile supports
• Emailing designs (responsive)

Art Direction:
• Insure consistency with other products
• Co-ordinate internal UX and/or UI Designers and ensure they deliver high quality
• Constant research to ensure design is state of the art
• Be a proactive member of the Digital Design team, inspiring your team mates with great ideas, new approaches,efficient methodology
• Evangelizing UX/UI best practice & design inspiring on the Europcar group

INTERNAL AND EXTERNAL RELATIONSHIPS

Internal: Product, IT, eCommerce, Marketing, Communication, Sales, Fleet, ITS, Countries External: digital agencies, eCommerce related external providers

Qualifications

PERSONAL PROFILE OF POSITION HOLDER

Previous experience:
 Significant experience in Responsive Design & Mobile User Interface design.
 Extremely experienced in transactional, eCommerce field, where design is essential to the conversion to purchase.
 Experienced in an Agile environment on Feature or Product Team.
 UX, UI, Art Direction expertise
 Ability to manage a Product with a global vision
 Ability to co-design with other Designers
 Experience in an international environment

Education level / certificates:
Bac+3 within the field of visual communication, graphic design, Art direction or UX design

Languages:
Fluent english

Computer skills and software:
Sketch, InVision, Prototyping, Adobe creative suite, HTML, CSS, new stuff we are not even aware of yet!

Personal characteristics:
Analytical, Creative, Open minded, Insightful, Fun, Team-oriented, Internationally minded, Attention to detail
