As a Senior UX Designer, you will be a key member of our product team. You will work alongside a broad mix of stakeholders including product managers, engineers, CSM, sales in a creative, highly collaborative environment. You will influence the direction our product is taking in user experience and champion the user perspective at every step.

At PlayPlay you will be relied upon to create exemplary prototypes, interfaces, and experiences, whilst balancing user needs, constraints of technology, company brand values, and KPIs. As we continue to push the boundaries of modern UX, we will be looking to you to integrate motion and interaction design into your usability solutions.

As part of the product team, you join a team of 2 product managers and 1 Product designer working on making the best possible user experience and building the best video creation tool in the world.

MISSIONS

Prioritize and define problems worth solving

We are creating a product that does not exist elsewhere. Our first priority is to define the right problems to solve and articulate them clearly before starting the design process. Understand our users and know the market to identify product ideas and opportunities Prioritize concepts or problem spaces that we should explore with the rest of the product team and stakeholders (new products / iterations on our current product) Plan, conduct and synthesize research with the rest of the product team (customer interviews, surveys, 5 whys, competitor or marketing analysis, etc.)

Frame and solve problems weaving together experiences that take the brand, user needs, and technology into account

Create wireframes, storyboards, user flows, prototypes to test design assumptions

Create research protocols, conduct tests and interviews and generate qualitative reports

Build on this insight to develop best-in-class user experiences

Evangelize and communicate about research insights

Share best practices about UX principles, methodologies, and best practices

Distill ideas, clearly communicate them, influence others, build consensus and articulate the “why” of design decisions

Collaborate with designers and developers to maintain design consistency and coherence across our product ecosystem

Profil recherché

5+ years of experience as a Senior Product Designer, Senior UX Designer, or similar role, preferably working on SaaS products

Experience with wireframes, storyboards, user flows, personas and other UX methodologies such as card sorting, eye movement tracking, various types of usability testing

Extensive knowledge and experience designing in prototyping tools, Sketch, Invision

Deep familiarity with UX principles, methodologies, and best practices

An online portfolio of work demonstrating User research and UX experience (Submissions without a portfolio will not be considered)
