Team and Role Overview
We are seeking a Business Analyst with experience in P&L and risk management, accounting, or operations to join our P&L Product Management Team and to assist in the development and roll-out of Calypso P&L Solution. Experience with FX, IRDs, Fixed Income, or Credit would be a plus. Responsibilities include assistance in writing specifications, performing functional testing of the application, and providing internal training.
Understand market requirements by interacting with customers, the company's customer support people, and Adenza Customer Delivery Consultants
Produce product requirements and specifications, including test plans
Coordinate work of software engineers, quality assurance engineers, and documentation to ensure timely delivery of a product that meets market requirements
Write and/or review product documentation
Train salespeople and sales support people on the features of the product
Perform functional and system testing
Work closely with the Calypso Quality Assurance team to develop test cases
Work closely with Product Support, Customer Delivery (Professional Services), Senior Product Managers, QA, and Engineers to investigate/validate client’s issues and detail possible solutions or workarounds
Skills And Requirements
B.S. - master’s in business/Finance or Technical field
Minimum of 2 years working experience in the Financial Services industry preferably working in a middle-office or product control department, trading or supporting activity
Strong knowledge of financial products: financial characteristics, lifecycle, pricing, risk, etc.
Must be able to work independently
Must be a fast learner, self-motivated, team player, and collaborator
Strong problem-solving skills
Good oral and written communication skills are essential
