Job description

At Akeneo, you will:

Led a team of data engineers and guided them with the best data strategies in line with data needs,
Identifying, designing, and implementing process improvements that include building/re-engineering data models, data architectures, pipelines, and data applications,
Work towards achieving high performance, operational excellence, accuracy, and reliability of the overall system to establish a Data as a Service culture,
Help people in the team grow professionally ensuring everyone's voice is heard, identify the potential of each team member and offer technical guidance, leadership, and advice on planning, designing, and implementing data solutions,
Have a career progression (diversity of topics and job positions, external and internal training),
Play in an international background and goal-driven culture.

Qualifications

Solid experience in the following management fields is welcome; we have high expectations on these topics. We are interested in your profile for this position if:

you have a track record of evangelizing cross-team initiatives and making things happen, are a role model for others in terms of initiative and autonomy, enable others to take the initiative,
you have experience in managing, designing, and maintaining large-scale data solutions,
you mentor other Engineering Managers to provide feedback and guidance on management practices, have strong project management skills and team management experience with managerial abilities to handle a team of data enthusiasts,
you are proactive, autonomous, self-motivated, resourceful, and eager to have a meaningful impact,
you are comfortable in English (a strong French accent is ok),
finally, you learned from your mistakes and are ready to make new ones with us!!!
