Ball Aerosol Packaging operates six Aerosol manufacturing plants in the Czech Republic, United Kingdom, France, India, Mexico and Brazil and three aluminium slugs production facilities in France and North America.

Main Purpose of the function:

To actively influence and support our Commercial Finance pricing functions across the Aerosol division to contribute to the business profitability and growth.

Key Responsibilities :
Reporting to the Pricing Manager Ball Aersol Packaging, the Senior Business Analyst will work closely with the Senior management team, commercial team R&D department and our plants located in the US, Canada, Brazil, Mexico, Europe and India. He/She will be responsible for :

Providing financial analysis and measurement by calculating the financial implications to KPIs and metrics of an offer (including pricing, terms and investment) designed for a specific deal.Participating actively in the pricing and contracting strategy elaboration and execution.Conduct and coordinate financial, product, market, operational and related research to support strategic and business planning within the various departments and programs of the client groupDeveloping pricing proposals in response to customer requests taking into account market health, competitor position, and current and future strategy needs.Assisting commercial team in negotiations of terms and conditions on customer contracts and evaluating the contracts ensuring alignment on strategy and proposing additional clauses for profitability and plant optimization.Proposing initiatives to standardize, simplify, speed up and improve accuracy of pricing activities across the division and actively participate in implementations of improvement projects.Supporting the implementation of IT projects.Participating actively in development and maintenance of market intelligence tracking and liaising between commercial and plants to maintain supply/demand mapping and market positioning.Supporting and deputising for Pricing Manager, Ball Aerosol Packaging.

Professional Requirements:

University degree in Engineering, Finance, Supply Chain, the ideal candidate will:

have a background in Finance/Costing or Supply Chain and 5 years of experience in analytical roles within Finance or pricing in an international and multi-site environment.have a good knowledge and understanding of financial and cost accounting practiceshave a strong business acumen and analytical and organisational skillshave the ability to dig into detail, manage complexity and drive decision makinghave strong communication skills and be fluent in both written and spoken English. Another divisional language will be a plus.have advanced Excel and Microsoft Office skills. Experience with SAP or JDE is a plus.
