JOB MISSION
This role’s mission is to drive e-commerce sales, deliver exceptional customer care and keep the brand’s beauty + sustainability ethos at the heart of the brand experience.
DUTIES AND KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
This exciting new role is an E-commerce position with Davines based in France. We are looking for someone seeking the opportunity to have true ownership of all Davines sales on-line: transitioning our Davines.fr website to ecommerce; as well as managing our e-retail partners. Ideally with experience in beauty and passion for sustainable brands. Entrepreneurial spirit, excited about the idea of fully owning the FR online experience and motivated by sales targets.
E-commerce Manager Role Overview
This role will be responsible for day-to-day management E-commerce FR and managing all aspects of growing the FR online store including overseeing advertising.
Lead with the Marketing Manager on the transition of a FR e-commerce in collaboration with our Global team in Italy and other FR functions such as the Trade Marketing team & communication
Owning the FR digital calendar in alignment with MKTG & Comm
Own the P&L for this department and manage all budgets and forecasts.
Site merchandising and content updates in collaboration with the comms team
Manage reporting to deliver monthly reports covering, but not limited to key site metrics (e.g. site traffic, page views, page performance, abandonment rates, etc.)
Work closely with Operations/Logistics and our warehouse on stock levels, order issues and technical issues
Work closely with Global & Local team on CRM strategies, email segmentation, frequency of sends and overall email calendars in order to drive sales and brand awareness
Work closely with costumer care to ensure a seamless purchasing experience
Stay current with the online marketing environment and adapt the strategy to best serve the interests of Davines whilst keeping pace with the competition in our field.
E-Retail Partnerships Support
Work with the global team to develop and implement strategic online marketing plans (Joint Business Plans) for e-retail partners including proposing required marketing resources to drive growth
Manage the P&L of clients
Manage all elements of our brand presence on strategic e-retailer partners’ websites, including brand copy and content.
Responsible for working with E-comm partners on invoices and payments and liaising with our customer services and accounts department on outstanding invoices.
Collaborate with Marketing Manager to ensure correct forecasts and collaborate with international demand planning to ensure stock quantities, GWP, sampling, activities are available to meet arranged timelines
Work with Customer Service regarding all account queries, damages, inaccurate orders, returns etc
PERSON SPECIFICATION AND REQUIREMENTS
Previous experience as E-Commerce Store Management (3 years +)
Bac +4 , Master Degree
Experience working with clients, good at building relationship
High competency of Google Analytics
Good knowledge of SEO
Good knowledge of Advertising strategies (e.g. display/programmatic/social)
Preferable Shopify Experience 2 Years +
Team player, can work under own initiative, high achiever
Clear communication skills, highly motivational and enthusiastic
Analytical, a keen eye for attention to detail
Self-starter, problem-solver, autonomous, pragmatic and able to shape the online presence for the brand
Passionate about sustainability and keen to work for a value-based company (we’re proud to be a B Corp).
Fluent in english is a must
Given the 24/7 nature of online shopping, we’re looking for a candidate who is open to irregular hours and aware things can go wrong with a site which need urgently fixing
