Sr Business Analyst, Global Capital Systems

Job Description

The Global Capital Business Systems Analyst provides expertise and support to the company globally with a goal of maintaining business control systems for the management of Ecolab’s global supply chain’s capital process. This person will report into the Global Engineering team to design and develop Ecolab’s capital control strategy, improve existing systems, and design new systems to improve the overall capital management process.

What You Will Do

Part of the Global Supply Chain Engineering team and serve as the Global Capital Business Systems Analyst:

Design new business applications by gathering/analyzing requirements, constructing workflow charts, diagrams, and analytical data Improve systems by studying current practices and designing modifications Analyze requirements, design computer programs, and recommend system controls and protocol Define project requirements by identifying project milestones, phases, and elements; form project team; establish project budget Maintain system protocols by writing and updating procedures

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree Minimum 5 years of system design experience Technical Experience with the following Microsoft tools: Azure, Flow, PowerApp, SQL, Power BI, Access, Excel, SharePoint, Teams Experience managing and directing contract technology developers No immigration sponsorship available

Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, or Management of Information Systems 5+ years technical system development experience 5+ years of data analysis experience 3+ years of financial reporting experience Strong oral and written communication skills Able to facilitate cross functional teams to a common path forward Effectively manages competing priorities Use fact based, structured decision-making process to initiate and support appropriate actions Understands and adheres to Ecolab policies, procedures, and guidelines pertaining to safety, health and environmental emphasizing this perspective in their own work and in the work of others
