Business Analyst – BI Product Owner team H/F
Position goal
The Business Analyst is part of the BI Product Owner team for Finance and Sales Performance Reporting, within the GEODIS Group Financial Controlling department.
The Business Analyst supports the creation of new and meaningful reporting for Finance and Sales Performance Subjects. The maintenance and evolution of existing reporting solutions shall deliver incremental value.
The BI Product owner team is acting as an internal Service provider for Corporate or local reporting needs.
As a member of the Agile Team, you'll also be responsible for defining user stories and support prioritizing initiatives. Reporting is a highly visible and transversal domain that spans across different organizations.
The BI Product Owner team is interacting with various departments withing the group depending on the different needs.

The Business analyst reports to the Product owner of the Bi Solution for Finance &Sales Performance Reporting.
Missions and responsibilities:
The Business analyst is a closed business partner for different Internal Clients as Finance and Sales teams
Support the “product” from a “what” and “why” perspective for the reporting products. Your curiosity allows you to quickly understand the business need and to transcribe this in understandable specification for proper IT development.You anticipate future business needs and contribute to definition of a relevant and efficient Roadmap
Support delivering incremental value every sprintProactively recommend design best practices and technical solutions delivering high business valueWork with agile team to provide expertise in answering questions, addressing ambiguities, and mitigating any issuesFeed the Sprint Management tool with clear explanation to support efficient development of new featureYou follow the IT development and participate in UAT
Monitor, analyze, and test items related to new releasesSupport deployment and trainingSupport incident management
Education and skills
High education degree (Business School or University)
Experience (3-7 years): Acting as a real business partner supporting reporting solution creation for different internal clientsFluent in EnglishBusiness orientedProject Management: Ability to collaborate across organizational boundaries.
Knowledge to mix different data sources MDM, CRM, BI etc to create meaningful connectivitiesLean & Agile practicesUsed to handle massive data for proper testingExperience in the implementation of Business Intelligence Reporting (for example SAP BI, Power BI…)Ability to learn and adopt new technologies quickly
