The Position

HTS Data analyst - Performance Manager

Job Summary

JOB SUMMARY

As part of its Transformation project, Imerys is developing a new BI tool to replace all currently existing BI Tools in all Business Areas. This new Group BI tool shall go live in Q3-20.

The HTS Data Analyst-Performance Manager will support the HTS current BI tools (Qlickview, Crystal-Cognos and BW SAP) with main objectives to ensure reliability and consistency of data, propose and develop new analyses (in particular HTS global sales variance analysis) based on Qlikview and produce monthly sales reporting. First focus on sales follow up. He/She will actively contribute to group BI project and will support the Corporate teams on all BI related topics. He/She will also ensure the coordination of sales forecasts and budgets using BI tools.

Main characteristics of the Data Analyst -Performance Manager position:

Domestic and international travels required: a few days in Paris if not based in Greenelle,

No management responsibilities but coordination with business analysts

KEY TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

The key tasks and responsibilities of the Data Analyst -Performance Manager will be:

to support the HTS BI tools : coordinate BI processes (Crystal Cognos / BW) and Qlickview database to develop performance analysis with a first focus on sales performance monitoring : selling prices follow up tool, sales variance analysis (for global HTS perimeter, by region and by market segment), KPIs reporting to coordinate elaboration of monthly sales reports including sales variances, specific KPIs to monitor activity (book to bill, order intake), gross margin to analyse and answer ad-hoc request from business / operations to ensure data quality and consistency in BI tools , manage referentials, to contribute to new group BI project and provide support to the Corporate teams to support the Qlicksense database (Imerys BI Tool), to contribute to all projects allowing to improve the quality of data in HTS (eg market segmentation, DUNs numbers management) in close coordination with Business Analyst to improve process efficiency

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS. ABILITIES AND OTHER

Fluent in English First significant experience in using BI tools Taste for data processing needed Analytics skills

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

First experience in a finance function (control or audit or M&A), Degree in finance, business or engineering.
