Talent Acquisition Manager - EMEA Region

 Itron is seeking a Talent Acquisition (TA) Manager to manage the full recruitment lifecycle in the EMEA region.  In this role you will manage a team of recruiters, located in Hungary and France, work closely with their peers APAC & NA regions, and partner with hiring managers, leaders, and HR teams members across the globe to bring top talent to Itron. You will report to the Global Talent Acquisition Director based in the United States.

This role can be located in Meudon (92) or Macon (71).

 Job Duties & Responsibilities:

Develop specific strategies to identify, engage, attract, and assess talent for professional level roles (excluding hourly, production hiring), with a heavy emphasis on technical/engineering roles
Player/coach – expected to manage requisitions, often high-visibility, or executive recruitments and will take on additional requisitions, as needed, to help balance/maintain appropriate requisition volumes for team
Support the EMEA TA team with professional development through training, managing, and coaching
Establish, define, and train recruitment team on standard processes to ensure predictable outcomes
Identify and implement process improvement efforts (with a global mindset and intent to scale)
Metrics reporting on an established cadence, including ad hoc report requests, to measure process efficiency
Tracking and reporting on key performance indicators (KPIs) for recruitment team and mentoring and coaching areas with deficiencies
Partner closely with hiring managers and EMEA HR teams to ensure achievement of business goals and help TA team to manage key stakeholders
Ensure compliance with European Works Council (EWC)
Partner with Inclusion & Diversity, University Recruitment and Global Mobility (immigration and relocation) programs to hire diverse talent and to build talent pipelines
Select and manage global vendors who can provide the best products and services to meet hiring demand (agencies, job boards, social media, aggregators, etc.)
Continuous improvement of the candidate and hiring manager experience
Stay current on emerging trends, tools, and best practice in recruitment
Ability to make decisions quickly in a fast-paced, constantly evolving environment and provide guidance, in the same way, to recruitment team
Strong interpersonal and relational skills to communicate effectively with employees at all levels of the company

Experience:

5+ years of EMEA / international recruitment experience required
2+ years leading a multicultural TA team
Master’s Degree in related field highly preferred
Experience with Applicant Tracking Systems knowledge (Workday highly preferred)
Excellent English communication skills required – both verbal and written.
Additional preferred language skills: French, German, Hungarian
