Position – Business Analyst – Asset Maintenance Management:

Trimble is seeking a Business Analyst to work within their Trimble Railway Asset Solutions group. Trimble’s rail asset lifecycle management products are an integrated suite of on premise and software-as-a-service (SaaS) solutions that manage the lifecycle of rail transport assets from operation through maintenance and repair.

Job Summary:

As a business analyst, you will be expected to work closely with internal and external stakeholders and engineering teams to analyse, specify and test features of Trimble’s railway asset maintenance management solution. You will evaluate end-user requirements and apply your in-depth knowledge of the product to specify them and bring them to the product owner/engineering teams.

Responsibilities :

Develop detailed functional and business requirements specifications

Build up product knowledge and become an expert in its capabilities and limitations.

Collaborate with stakeholders to evaluate and refine end-user requirements.

Liaise between business units, end-users, technology teams, and support teams

Assist with analysis of functional and basic technical issues

Work with the QA team to define acceptance criteria and conduct user acceptance testing.

Travel occasionally across Europe

Skills & Experience Required:

Proven experience in a business analyst role.

Strong analytical and problem solving skills.

Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, including technical writing, in French (Essential) and English

Excellent teamwork and interpersonal skills.

Self-sufficient and able to work independently.

Working knowledge of how software systems such as web applications, SQL, APIs, and data interfaces work.

Desirable Skills:

Experience using Jira.

Experience with asset management, maintenance management, or ERP systems.

Experience in the railway industry.
