Founded in 1996, ABO Wind is now among Europe’s leading developers of renewable energy projects. The company plans, finances, delivers, manages, and maintains wind farms, solar parks, and to a lesser extent biogas plants and hybrid energy systems. As of 2018, the company employs 500 well-qualified staff and operates in 18 countries. ABO Wind realises projects with a total annual investment of about 300 million euros. To date, ABO Wind has commissioned clean energy production plants with a total capacity of about 1.4 gigawatts. In addition to project development and implementation, ABO Wind offers Operations & Maintenance, technical services and assessments, safety checks and repairs of renewable energy facilities.
