Discovery Yachts, founded in 1998, are British builders of the ultimate luxury blue-water cruising yachts designed for two handed sailing. More than a decade later the company is a thriving business employing up to 100 skilled workers to produce the highest quality yachts from its manufacturing facility near Southampton, Great Britain. The management team is dedicated to providing a service that is defined by the quality of its design, build and customer care. Discovery yachts are well known for their clever features and custom designed innovations as well as the high level of standard equipment specified on each yacht. The range includes the Discovery 48, 55, 58 and 67 and the award-winning Bluewater 50 catamaran by Discovery. Renowned for their fast performance and easy motion, the Discovery range have been designed by Ron Holland to ensure exhilarating and effortless passage making. Dixon Yacht Designs produced the drawings for the Bluewater 50 Cat which offers spacious on-board living with world-class sailing. All the yachts have light and airy, contemporary interiors designed by Ken Freivokh with their hallmark raised saloons offering panoramic vision.
