KAPLA is a construction toy, made up of a set of identical planks. The unique size of the planks, 8x24x120 mm, makes them ideal for building with endless variety. Each planks is simply placed one on top of the other, without any glue, screws or clips, allowing children to let their imagination run free. Everything is possible with KAPLA planks! The KAPLA planks are; - manufactured with high precision - made out of wood from renewable pine forest in the South-west of France - entirely natural and non-treated - in compliance with the European Security Norms CE and EN71 'In pursuit of a childhood dream I moved from Holland to France, bought the ruins of a farm and transformed it into a castle of stone. The conception of KAPLA is a result of that building experience... By combining skills of ingenuity and creativity, KAPLA increases children's capacity to concentrate and develops their ability to adapt to an ever changing world.
