Formed in December 2012 as a result of the acquisition of Ansaldo Sistemi Industriali S.p.A. (ASI) by Nidec Corporation, our roots run back to the founding of Ansaldo’s Stabilimento Elettromeccanico (electro-mechanical workshop) in 1899. From the inception, we have specialized in providing innovative power control and system solutions that have satisfied hundreds of customers worldwide thanks to a broad range of projects that spans from today’s tailored electric drive systems for maximum efficiency in Oil &Gas, Metals, Marine and General industries to the development of pioneering solutions for tomorrow's energy systems. As part of the Nidec Group, we strive to do more than help optimize operating expenses with tailor-made solutions.
