Senior Account Manager (Portuguese speaking)
AppNexus, a Xandr Company, is seeking a Senior Account Manager to join the EMEA Account Management team within our rapidly growing team in Paris.
The Senior Account Manager is responsible for working with our clients at all levels of their businesses, from the C-level to Ad Ops, to retain and grow their businesses through identifying and solving problems to ultimately make them incredibly successful. Account Managers develop a deep understanding of the AppNexus technology platform, and the ideal candidate has excellent account management skills, is analytical and solutions-oriented, and possesses keen commercial acumen.

About the job:
Lead and manage strategy, solutions, consultative selling and relationship-building with clients
Develop a thorough understanding of clients’ businesses, the advertising technology industry and the competitive landscape
Understand clients’ strategies, KPIs, goals, ROI metrics, to identify risks to clients achieving their business goals and develop risk mitigation plans
Suggest and develop processes, products and services that will better achieve client objectives
Drive the creation and delivery of quarterly and annual business reviews with clients, highlighting progress against jointly agreed KPI’s and drive incremental business
Take charge of clients’ accounts and play an essential project-lead role: delegate projects, monitor workflow and ensure on-time delivery and effective issues resolution
Manage the AppNexus relationship with clients, develop and maintain long-term relationships with clients’ stakeholders
Effectively network the accounts at all levels; be a trusted advisor in order to ensure successful account plan execution and business growth
Develop an in-depth understanding of AppNexus’ Account Planning methodology, manage account planning process, and implement best practices within the account teams
Actively promote AppNexus’ offerings and value to clients to identify ways of driving more revenue
Drive new customer on-boarding through value selling
About your skills:
Excellent understanding of, and experience in, technology enabled advertising and programmatic
Experience with strategic accounts, selling with demonstrated consultative selling, contract negotiation, and account development skills
Proven track record in growing large complex accounts
Proven track record of closing deals with clients
Strong organisational skills and an eye for improvement or new initiatives
Bachelors degree (or higher)
Fluency in Portuguese and English
