We are currently looking for a Pre-Sales LC-MS Field Application Specialist focusing on the BioPharma Market to join our Application Team in Les Ulis. Acting as a Protein Mass Spectrometry Analyst, you will be part of this international, diverse and professional team of Pre-Sales/Application Specialists in the Agilent CrossLab Group (ACG).

In this role, you will support the sales process by providing application support and demonstrating our LC-MS instrumentation and analytical workflows to our BioPharma clients across France, Benelux and Romandie.

Your main responsibilities will be:

• Address the analytical needs of customers in your regions by developing new methods or applying established ones, demonstrating the performance of the whole Agilent LC-MS portfolio in the Agilent Centre of Excellence.
• Understand customer's challenges, recommend solutions and ensure the highest customer satisfaction with the newest analytical trends in the market.
• Communicate & position the results to customers through presentations, scientific conferences, seminars, workshops, digital content generation and user meetings.
• Travel to customer sites to present results, implement methods, provide application consulting, and deliver on-site customer trainings classes.
• Provide your application and market expertise at every level of the value chain, by working closely with product managers, marketing managers, sales teams, customer support and opinion leaders.
• Maintain and expand your expertise including the latest scientific findings, market & technology trends, industry benchmarks & regulations and positioning of the competition.
• Work closely with the sales team to meet LC-MS sales target

This role is based in our Les Ulis offices (Essonne, France). We can offer flexibility and the possibility to work from home (hybrid model) according to business needs and workload/ongoing projects. You will also visit clients on your assigned territory on a regular basis. 

Qualifications

We are looking for a motivated individual with the following background:

• University Degree (ideally a PhD) in a Life Science related field (Biochemistry, Chemistry, Biology, Pharmacy, etc…) 
• Hands-on experience on Mass Spectrometry (ideally LC-MS) analysing Proteins/Oligonucleotides
• Experience with/knowledge of CE, CE-MS, 2D-LC or any other analytical technique is a plus
• Full proficiency in French and English. Any fluency in another European language would be an advantage

On a personal level, you are open-minded, organised, customer oriented and you like solving problems. You enjoy working both autonomously and as part of a team. Finally, you also have great communication skills to interact with many internal (direct peers, sales, marketing, etc…) partners and clients.
