Entity and activity description


Air Liquide India provides innovative, responsive and customer focused services with the highest safety standards and over a wide product range, which improves the performance of our customers, while helping the environment. 


Air Liquide India caters to an expanding merchant market network to which it supplies Oxygen, Nitrogen, Argon, Hydrogen, Helium and Specialty gases, through various supply systems - pipelines, tankers, cylinders, on-site plants or other specialized modes, depending on the product, location, and customer needs

Missions and Responsibilities


Mission Statement: 


The mission is to support the development of gas and services sales by Developing AL business by opportunity management in the framework of a sales plan. Designing and proposing winning solutions for customers’ combustion processes in order to promote AL gas applications technologies, products & equipment's. Providing technical support and process engineering to business developers, industrial operations team and sales force on combustion applications/installations. Providing support for customer installation in compliance to safety, environmental regulations and internal rules (IMS) while implementing and improving best practices.


Roles and Responsibilities: 



Plans & priorities in advance, for effective prospecting & customer visits.
Visits industrial areas & identifies prospective Leads. Identifies & understands Client requirements & needs
Meets decision-makers and develops relationships and builds trust. Plays Lead role in negotiation & closure of contracts.
Takes complete ownership of the Accounts , Ensures Customer Satisfaction level, brings clarity to cross functional activities.
Develops & shares territory business knowledge. Identifies and follows gas and non-gas competitor’s actions in his/her assigned area.
Keeps track of competition and market developments
Keeps track and supports the development sales profit.

Competencies and Profile


Key responsibilities:


Education: BE Graduate – Mech / Production / Metallurgy / welding and/or Management preferred, Demonstrable, deep and successful experience in sales, Sound knowledge or experience in Business and Financial Management, Strong financial and analytical skills, Experience working with Microsoft Office and applications.


Experience: 3 to 6 years of relevant experience and proven track records
