Sales Effectiveness Manager - Global Sales Support


What you do 


The Global Sales Support Team assists the local Sales teams across the globe in over 30 local entities as well as all global sales teams on all Sales-related topics, especially around process, tool, training, and sales steering. We are a team based in various locations across 5 countries reporting to the Head of Sales effectiveness (Tender management and Sales Academy).



You will oversee a selected portfolio of initiatives linked to our strategic transformation priorities within the Markets organization across the four regions and our global Sales teams (GSP/GCS), more specifically focusing on 3 mains areas stated below: 


Your responsibilites: 


Tender Management: 

Design, implement, and steer harmonized tender process in close cross-functional collaboration (eg. LOB Product, UW, PM&I, etc.) with clear roles & responsibilities 
Define respective tender management framework for global and/or local deals ranging from Toolbox around content & design to governance, etc), supporting the Sales teams and ensuring ownership of key function.
Leverage Salesforce to proactively follow tender opportunities to identify, to propose, and to support the collaboration with the proposal factory (in content and design
Build and maintain relevant standard sales pitches with the LOBs, collaborate closely with the Proposal Factory and continuously refine together with Sales user
Contribute to top management requests


Sales Academy: 

Design and implement a train the trainer model, for selected training modules, acquire respective Sales resources across Allianz Partners (AZP) to support the training focus
Actively support the Sales Academy team in building & running the Sales Academy as central training platform for all sales staff across AZ
Develop respective change management & training content under the roof of the Sales Academy (eg. Functional modules, Salesforce, …)


Sales Community: 

Support in building and maintaining a global Sales community across all BU’s and global teams (eg. collect & share best practices)
Work closely with local CSOs and global team leads on eg. identifying training needs
Support Salesforce super user community
Anchor sales transformation priorities across all local and global teams via a consistent change management approach (eg. Ambassador model)


What you bring



University graduate with 7+ years’ experience in the insurance sector  
Experienced Sales and/or in answering tenders and coordinating large teams’ cross functions to deliver quality deliverables in a timely manner.
Work experience in Agile environment & cross-functional matrix organization
Proficient user of Microsoft Office Package (Excel including advanced functions, Word, PowerPoint), with ideally strong capabilities in data analysis 
Proven track record in Project Management 
Proven strong analytical skills
Rigorous, detail-oriented, and able to produce high-quality deliverables
Highly motivated, self-steering and team player
Comfortable in a highly dynamic environment
Excellent verbal and written skills required in English
At ease to work in geographically disperse team
Work experience in Agile environment & cross-functional matrix organization
Good communication skills and at ease to speak in front of large audience (Sales community, CSO etc).
