Regional Sales Manager (m/f/d) - EMEA

Ametek SAS, the Group's French subsidiary headquartered in Elancourt (78), is looking for a Regional Sales Manager for its AMETEK Airtechnology Business Unit specializing in the design and manufacture of thermal management and motion control systems customized to the specific needs of customers primarily in the aerospace, aeronautics, defense oil/gas and rail industries.   



Mission:


Manage all aspects of the sales process and customer relationships for the accounts located in the countries in the EMEA territory, including Turkey.  Tasks will include promoting AMETEK Airtechnology products to new as well as existing customers.  The majority of the customer base will be involved in Military and/or Aerospace markets but promotion to various other market segments will also be required.  The position will also include management responsibility of independent sales representatives in the territory.



Your job with us:



Support delivery of annual business order intake targets and new business opportunities
Maintain business forecasts (monthly) and other associated BU reporting needs
Provide regular written reports and maintain customer and programme-related commercial records (SalesForce CRM tool)
Act as the company's primary point of contact for all EMEA customers
Work with the business development and engineering teams to ensure alignment on new product developments and business opportunities.
Participate in industry trade shows and other forms of lead generation (including support with digital marketing initiatives).
Research and identify new market opportunities and support development of strategic sales plans for region
Develop effective business proposals, manage bid process and respond to customer’s RFQ/RFP's in a timely manner

 


Your skills:



You have a degree, preferably in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering
You have proven experience in the sales of technical products, particularly in motion control and thermal management systems (motor, position detection, fans, exchangers and cooling systems)
Proven experience (7-10 years) in business development, strategic planning, OEM contract management and marketing
Expertise in Military and Aerospace markets is preferred
You are organized, autonomous, proactive, result oriented, like challenges and are able to manage and/or work as part of a multi-disciplined team (purchasing, engineering, program management, quality and manufacturing etc.)
Excellent oral and written communication skills in English language are essential
You are proficient user of CRM tools, SalesForce and the MS Office package
