Job Description



In support of our continued growth journey, Avanade is looking for a Regional FSI Sales Manager, also known as Client Group Sales Lead, with a on all sales related activities focused on the FSI industry. Do you have experience in selling digital transformation services (consulting, system implementation and managed services) by means of consultative selling? Do you know how to drive sales in this industry both directly and via team? Are you looking to be part of an ambitious growth strategy and would like to work at a successful and innovative company where people have a real passion for their profession with a growth mind set? Within this role you will lead sales including the sales teams and sellers for the FSI industry. You will provide expert guidance, support and insight into the sales strategy and how it translates to this particular industry. You will work with the team towards a high level of consistency in the design, execution and efficiency of sales for our FSI clients and whitespace accounts. With you vision and knowledge, you will ensure that Avanade is ideally positioned for successful growth over the long term. You will focus on the region called Gallia, which is the collective of France, Netherlands and Belgium.

We have a total of 6 offices in France, spread out across Paris, Nantes, Bordeaux, Toulouse, Lyon and Clermont-Ferrand. With our organization we service 46% of Global 500 companies and they are our active clients. This means we do more than 21000 projects with 4000 customers since we started as a joint venture between Accenture and Microsoft. Even more throughout the entire region.

·       Create and articulate an inspiring vision for your areas of responsibility.


·       Developing business growth plans including annual growth plans and sales target/quota plans

·       A leader who is comfortable operating as a player/coach – driving personally a set of specific deals but also acting as a coach and mentor to pursuit teams across the region.


·       A leader who understands what it means to build and execute on sales capability programs needed today, while also knowing how to position these programs as the building blocks for the capabilities needed tomorrow.


·       The role requires a collaborative negotiating style capable of effecting change and driving results and experience working in a matrixed and fast paced, growing organization

·       The ability to attract and recruit top talent, motivate the team, delegate effectively, celebrate diversity within the team, and manage performance


·       Creates a sense of purpose/meaning for the team that generates followership and engages others to the greater purpose for the organization as a whole.


·       Lead and drive the sales community and also act as the functional lead for sales professionals.


·       Understanding of working across cultures and driving and influencing for results in a matrix organization is important.
