Job Description

WHAT WILL YOU DO?
You will lead, coordinate and manage the Sales Engineers team from the entire French region, including France; Maghreb and Drom-Com. You will be responsible for coordinating the SE team activities, both internal and external. The main objective of the role is to achieve the long- and short-term goals defined. You will think and act both strategically for the long term and also lead the operational and daily activities of the team to make sure we deliver the best possible experience. You will also be actively close to the top partners and customer through the SE team to support on complex, critical or high business potential activities.


Additionally, effective co-operation and alignment with the sales, training and marketing team, supporting business initiatives and developing the team’s competence and capability are required. Short and long term, the Sales engineering team are to align with regional business priorities. Travelling is needed for this role, primarily in the French sub-region but also within our entire sales region of Southern Europe, mainly Italy, Spain, Israel and Portugal. You will be reporting to the Regional Manager Southern Europe, Sales Engineering & Training.


Responsibilities will include but not be limited to:



Be a strategic and participative technical leader for the French region market, aligning with all the other departments on events, Axis Experience Center, large projects, complex PoC Go/No Go, top partners and end customers technical strategies and internal knowledge development for your SE team.
Maintain an ongoing 1-1 coordination to align on priorities, challenges, and expectations for each SE
Coordinate with the Sales Manager; SE&T regional manager and HQ all activities for the team regarding trainings, events and other local initiatives from a strategical technical point of view
Keep updated on any new developments in the industry, in the country or high-level legislation regarding our markets.
Responsible for continuously developing the expertise within the team when it comes to our products, solutions and competitive intelligence.
Make prioritizations when it comes to technical support in different projects (together with The Regional Manager). Lead and contribute to win major projects from a technical standpoint. 
Develop your own skills and experience to participate on complex projects process to coordinate the different teams in order to maximize business impact.

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
We are looking for an enthusiastic, sales-driven and service minded individual with a good technical understanding and an interest in learning about Axis technology and products. You will be a team player and have a passion for achieving results through others. We believe that the right candidate shows a proven success of working in a changing and growing environment, has a flexible mindset with a structured and organized approach when putting plans into action.


As a person you are open minded, motivated by developing and maintain internal and external relationships. You are a strong leader and role model with an open, honest, transparent way with the ability to motivate and unite the team around a common goal.


Experience required:



Degree in Engineering or business administration areas
At least 5 years’ experience as a leader, preferably on physical security or IT on B2B environments
Results oriented through motivational approach
Good presentation skills
Excellent organization skills
French native level and fluent on English
Based in Paris area
