Axis has something great to offer! We are now looking to fill our opening as Sales Engineer based in Paris.


Would you like to be a part of a dynamic engineering & training team all across Southern Europe? Do you love technology a lot, but also to demonstrate technology solutions and products to other people? If your answers are yes - then we are waiting for your application!


Within this team, we focus primarily on educating our Inside Sales and Distributors on first-line pre-sales support, and the setup and maintenance of the Experience Centre (showroom) & Training room. The main objective of your role is to be a backbone for internal sales support, where external customer visits are not required. 


YOUR FUTURE TEAM


You will work closely with the local Sales Engineers and Technical Trainer within Southern Europe (mainly France), and efficiently assist the sales team and make sure we are properly covering the market. If you are curious to know more about your future team... Watch this video:



In this role, you will have constant guidance and mentorship from the Technical Training Team leader, who will act as your first point of contact. Both of you will be based in our Paris office, which will facilitate the smooth onboarding and collaboration in your early stages as well as your long-term career aspirations. Under his dotted line of coaching in Paris and direct reporting line to the Regional Engineering Manager, you will thrive and grow in your role.

WHAT YOU'LL DO AS A SALES ENGINEER


As a Sales Engineer, your role contributes to the business by being responsible for the technical aspects of the sales cycle, transmitting knowledge and information about Axis solutions portfolio to a selected list of partners. 


As the holder of this position, you are also responsible for educating selected authorized partners & distributors regarding Axis solutions, presenting the benefits of network video to important decision-makers to develop a relationship as a trusted advisor for these chosen accounts.


You will support the setup and maintenance of the Experience Centre and Training room, demo products management in our Paris office, which will be the main area for the partner and distributor visits.


Installations and implementations



Set up the Axis demo area at the Experience Center (showroom) and demonstrate Axis solutions to customers together with the Inside Sales or Distribution account managers.
Inventory management of the technical material in the local warehouse 
Organizing technical setup for office events preparation.
Test every product according to a checklist before/after loans, pilots, proofs of concept, events, etc.
Help the looking after the local IT infrastructure and the showroom in the subsidiary. 

Researching, advising and presenting



Participate in an ongoing training plan to support your personal and professional development (Axis solutions trainings and soft skills development).
Continuously keep the technical knowledge up to date on the latest products.
Consult our Inside Sales and Distribution with technical advice on new projects. 
Follow-up on set KPI's related to the function and offer a contribution to reach the target set for the region.

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR


We are looking for a focused and self-motivated team player with experience of working in the enterprise B2B environment and knowledge in networking, IP-based technologies and applications. 


Since Axis works through an indirect business model with a network of distributors, partners, and end customers in focus segments, we're looking for an enthusiastic and growth-minded engineer who is both autonomous and flexible team player, eager to work in sales and technological environments.


We'd love to hear that you have/are:



Knowledge in IT, preferably within the security market

Interest in IP Technology
Enthusiastic about innovation
Organizational and follow-through skills
Ability to work with deadlines and priorities
Self-motivated team player, work-oriented and service-minded
Adaptability, willingness to learn and grow in your role
Native in French & intermediate in English
