Barilla France wants to recruit a Key Account Manager on GMS.
Job purpose :
Drive and develop business at customer for all Barilla categories with a strong value driven growth ambition. Develop and implement customer specific sales strategies, supervised by the Group Accounts Senior Manager, in order to reach defined sales targets (profitability, turnover and volumes) for the assigned customer, respecting our group policies and promoting our values. Plan, prepare and participate in the customer negotiations in line with commercial policy and targets in collaboration and under guidance of the Group Accounts Senior Manager.
Key accountabilities
1. Customer strategy:
Create and deploy customer specific key account strategies together with the Groupe Accounts Senior Manager, based on the input of Trade Marketing and RGM, in alignment with company guidelines and targets, creating value for Barilla and its customers.
2. Customer negotiation:
Plan, prepare and participate in the customer negotiation in collaboration and under the guidance of the Group Accounts Senior Manager.
Create customer specific strategies for the yearly contract negotiation relating to customer business plans, including sales volumes, promotion, selling prices, assortment and logistic costs.
Alignment between local & international negotiations with international commercial team
3.Customer business plan:
With the support of Catmans, RGM and Field, lead the creation of customer growth business plans that drive value growth for Barilla, following our category management guidelines and the national merchandising approaches defined by Trade Marketing department.
Drive the category growth via customer expertise, optimization of assortments and develop share of shelf, market share and profitability of Barilla’s products.
4. Sales promotion management:
Create and implement customized promotional plans leveraging on customer specific trade marketing and field activation, in line with the guidelines and the allocated budget and under the supervision of the Group Accounts Senior Manager.
Optimize trade spending with an RGM approach. Ensure and monitor perfect execution including post event analysis (efficiency, transformation, remaining stocks).
5. Gross to net P&L management:
Plan an efficient and effective allocation of trade spending and other gross to net costs, in line with target and optimized via an RGM’s approach.
Ensure coherence of effective costs with each budget run.
Monthly reporting to superior and quarterly update of number via Quarterly Financial Review.
6. Develop customer penetration:
Develop and manage 360 customer approach, coordinating all customer touchpoints leveraging on a unique Barilla commercial identity.
Requirements
You have a significant experience of at least 5 to 7 years in FMCG in the French Market
A first solid experience in negociation with national accounts is a must
Dynamic, rigorous, pugnacious, with a strong tolerance to pressure, you are agile in the face of change and you are strongly result driven.
You also have strong analytical and synthetic skills, combined with a good appetite for financial calculation and you are excellent in presentations as well.
