Senior Account Manager Animal Nutrition South Europe (d/m/f)

The Business Unit Animal Nutrition Europe has defined several core markets in Europe in which the customers are directly managed by a local BASF Account manager with the objective to serve the customers in the best possible manner and assure and maintain a fair market position. Commercial management of the local, regional and international customers.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Overall customer relationship management and new customers development (hunting) for the Vitamins & Carotenoids Business of BASFs Animal Nutrition Business unit in France, Italy and Spain. Being the main contact for the Customers in the above listed countries.
Responsible for respective country/national Strategic Accounts.
Conclusion of short -and long-term commercial contracts including price volume negotiations.
Representing BASF in the animal nutrition market in France, Italy , Spain and scouting the market for developments / business development opportunities and projects relevant for the mid-term and reporting.
Active cooperation in the virtual commercial and technical teams that are the core of the European organization.
Share market know-how with relevant Business of BASF France/Italy/Spain lifting potential synergies.

QUALIFICATIONS

Will be educated to degree level or equivalent in an agricultural or food science related subject and have several years of experience in a similar role (commercial role).
More than 5 years commercial experience - strong commercial acumen.
Knowledge in the livestock business is a plus.
Strong, clear communication skills, (listening).
Entrepreneurial behavior should be well developed and proven in the achieved experience.
Located at the Headquarter of BASF France (Levallois-Perret, France) or in the Brittany region (France).
Must hold a full driving license.
Fluent in French and English. Spanish speaking would be an advantage.
Working experience in a multi-cultural environment.
