Job Description:For our offices in France and Germany we are seeking a:
Business Development Manager – Existing clients (m/f)
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our team at
BDP International. We are looking for 2 experienced
Business Development
Managers. You will be responsible for North Europe with
main focus on Germany - based in Frankfurt or
Düsseldorf. And for South
Europe, you will be based in Paris with main focus on
France.

Scope:
You will be accountable for developing and securing new
revenue streams and increasing BDP’s market share from
and at existing
customers.

Your Responsibilities:
Map out and inventories the prospective opportunities at from existing clients.
Determine and set a strategy to bring the opportunities to BDP.
Promote BDP’s service offerings as there are: o Air and Ocean freight
o 4PL or LLP Services
o Purchase Order Management Solutions
o International Trade Compliance Services
o Supply Chain Support Solutions
o Transportation Management & Administration Solutions
Build strategic relationships with key contacts within customer organizations to understand
opportunities for creating value.
Facilitate cross-selling opportunities to increase revenue and leverage relationships in order to
better penetrate the market.
Facilitate regular meetings with clients and relevant operations staff to evaluate performance
and receive updates from clients on challenges and
future plans.
Assist in the Development, Documentation, Implementation & Administration of Annual Business
Plans, Annual Budgets,including Monthly Analytics

Job Requirements:Key competencies and skills:
Ability to deal with complex subjects across multiple geographies and cultures
Good Communication skills: Oral and Written Business knowledge and acumen Good Understanding of financial planning Management Skills and Techniques Able to travel local and abroad Team player Customer Focus / Oriented Ability to coordinate and plan Good Negotiation skills Project management. Strong multi-tasking and prioritization skills Analytical Skills Job Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Transportation, Logistics, Supply Chain Management
or a related field preferred. (Or an equivalent
combination of work and education. / equivalent
combination of work experience)
Reference a minimum experience of 5 years industry experience preferred with 2 of those either a BD or
sales function.
Preferred verticals where you should have experience: Chemical / Petro-Chemical; Lifescience,
Machinery, Automotive.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a strong ability to analyse situations and to
make good decisions based on available information.
Ability to adapt quickly to changing policies and procedures.
Can work under pressure.
