An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our team at BDP France. We are looking for an experienced Regional Account Manager to expand our team.
The position is based in our Roissy or Lyon office.
Scope:
You will manage relationships with one customer and provide operational focus around service KPI’s and other specific targets or goals mutually determined by BDP and the customer.
Your Responsibilities
Provide support to the operations to ensure compliance of all SOP’s and processes specific to the customer and ensure yearly target achievement
Auditing of accepted standards and procedures within the customs regulations
Manage the most complex Service Parts Logistics solutions for customer on a day-to-day basis
Implementation of the key customer account plan for the year.
Provide continuous improvement suggestions to the customers by analyzing existing solutions and identifying & implementing service enhancements on an ongoing basis.
Organizing of review meetings, QBR, ..
Own and develop the relationship with the customer and defuse any tension that may arise and escalate accordingly when needed
Issue escalation and resolution
Monitoring of KPI’s
Data integrity check
Key competencies and skills:
Job Requirements:
Minimum of a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience Minimum 5 years of experience in the logistics industry of which a minimum of 2 years of customer relationship management at a regional level Good knowledge in French Customs & French customs IT System ( Connex) is mandatory. Very customer orientated and capacity of negotiating Knowledge and experience of freight forwarding operations Working knowledge of the operations procedures in the different countries French speaker with very good knowledge of English, both spoken and written.We offer a challenging career opportunity within the dynamic environment of an international logistics company.
