About the role

The purpose of this role is to understand and address expectations of key stakeholders within the business, and provide support to the Head of A&R to manage all relationships between the controlling community and the Finance Shared Service Centre (SSC). Both confident and strong communicator, this role will require an in-depth understanding of the Finance processes with a flair for IT, who will help ensure the A&R function achieves its deliverables in a timely and consistent manner.

Your Tasks

Financials & Compliance:

Responsible for the integrity of the Financials of BT France; ensuring quality and timeliness of information is delivered in line with Group and Divisional expectations
Responsible to ensure the internal (GCCG + CASRA) and external (E&Y) audit requirements are met
Review Internal Control deliverables for France and ensure execution in line with the Internal Control cycle
Ensure any local compliance issues that come to you are dealt with or escalated to the appropriate individual(s);
Stakeholder Management:

Together with Head of A&R clearly identify key stakeholders & agree a forum for dialogue to understand and address stakeholder expectations. Providing direct support and intervening where necessary;
Be the country SPOC (Single Point of Contact) for Divisional controlling;
Ensure all stakeholders have a clear understanding of the SLA/OLA/KPI deliverables and their role and responsibilities;
Performance & Improvement:

Follow SLA/OLA/KPI performance and review these with Head of A&R and agree areas for performance improvements;
Feedback any process failures to Process Specialist and together suggest actions for improvements to be agreed with Head of A&R and (Central) Process Team;
Together with Central Process Team and local Process Specialist, implement any actions agreed to address process failures and communicate updates/changes to key stakeholders;
Process Execution & Improvement:

Working with Heads of Country A&R, ensure regional conformity to the SSC roadmap, identifying any areas for improvement and associated improvement plans;
Ensure processes are consistently and effectively applied within the region in all areas of activity. Agree with Regional Controlling, Country Heads of A&R and Process Team an implementation of a Regional Process Improvement Plan;
Ensure consistency of performance and share best practices within the region
Contribute to sharing & deployment fo best practice process execution and improvement across A&R;

Ad Hoc Project Work:

Involvement in SAP/systems implementation
Involvement in Cross Regional & Group initiatives
Qualifications

Studies: BAC+5;
3-5 years relevant experience in a multinational environment required;
Specialized or cross-functional knowledge / relevant experience required by the position/role;
French native, fluent in English
