Sales Manager / Team Lead France
Bose Professional is looking for his/her sales manager/ team lead for FRANCE.
He/she will be based in Paris greater area.
He/she will report to the EMEA Regional Manager.
Objective of the function
The sales manager/team lead is responsible for achieving the goals for sales of Bose Professional products in Installed markets:
Engineered sound, Background music markets, Conferencing market and Portable Live Sound market.
Managing sales team in line with our sales strategy
Defining goals, taking, and executing initiatives for sales and marketing activities
Reporting to the Regional sales manager and collaboration with other managers in the organization
Taking responsibility for achieving budget and gross margin target
Key Result Areas:
1- Result Area: Managing sales team:
- Manages and coach experienced sales team in execution of sales strategy.
- This sales strategy contains (not limited to)
o Developing the pro direct resellers channel to grow our business.
o Developing the distributor channel to grow our business.
o Building business with new potential customers
o Creating demand in the market through consultants and other influencers.
o Creating demand in the market through populating and qualifying leads.
o Understanding the potential in our target market segments.
o Creating demand in the market through proactively approaching target projects.
o Managing large projects by creating multi-level and multi-discipline project sales teams.
- Define sales targets for sales team and provide insight in performance
- Coaching the regional sales engineer,
- Setup sales meetings for reporting and coaching the team to reach their goals.
- Organize mid-year and end of year performance review with employees to provide feedback and coaching.
2. Result Area: Sales and Marketing activities
- Generate annual business plan in line with global strategy, deploy across the sales team, and track performance and results.
- Develop and execute activities in line with global strategy.
- Transform activities in personal goals for team members.
- Collaborate with other managers in the Region to give insight in the plan and execute the activities.
3. Result Area: Reporting
- Setup processes for sales team to report on a regular and structural way, using MSD and A3 method.
- Create monthly country and region business reporting
- Use central tool for reporting of sales and business potential and project management is our MSD application, this needs to give daily accurate insight.
- Report project pipeline in MSD to provide insight for our product planning department.
- Participate and contribute in the Regional group and EMEA sales meetings, report business data and develop new activities.
4. Result Area: Budget and gross margin target
- Set targets for sales area and drive business to achieve sales budget for the region.
- Monitor the gross margin and take the responsibility to stay on the gross margin target.
Required Profile
- Experience in sales in a construction B2B environment
- Knowledge of sales of professional audio equipment or able to demonstrate the capability
- Experience, 3 years minimum in managing a sales team
- Native language is French
- Good knowledge of English, written & spoken
- Pro-active work attitude, with very good communication & presentation skills
- Systematic work attitude driven by strategy, goals and activities.
