Purpose of Position

Overall management of the certification sales team nationally Responsible for pro-active sales generation and cross selling of BSI services/products in line with budgeted goals and objectives.

Lead of marketing strategy in alignment with the country strategic plan, supporting all streams.

Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities

Lead the definition of a sales & marketing strategic plan for the country that is compatible with and supports the achievement of the regional strategy. Work collaboratively with the business to ensure the strategic plan for the country is implemented by stream, sector and domain to generate opportunities to optimize interdependencies commercial and resources. Provide strategic leadership for the sectors, domains and regions, with responsibility for providing leadership and direction to the Country Sector leads building thought leadership in all areas. Create detailed business plans on commercial opportunities (expansion, development) and identify and propose potential mergers, acquisitions, partnerships and alliances at country level to support Region and Group objectives. Lead the global Key Account Management programme and key relationships across the cluster or in-country to ensure that global Key Accounts are owned, nurtured and managed effectively by the relevant, appointed Key Account owner. Manage the daily sales operations, ensuring appropriate transparency, consistency, timeliness and compliance to procedures, covering the scope of functions Lead, manage and develop the marketing team, identifying opportunities build integrated client solutions. Ensure that new products are launched effectively at country level and that innovations in Sales and Marketing techniques, and new digital technologies, and implemented fully to enhance the Country's capability and capacity to realize its strategic ambitions. Provide market research and competitor intelligence including pricing strategies to position, create and deliver a cohesive ‘One BSI’ approach to market, ensuring the integrated Group Marketing Strategy is accurately reflected at Country level to help ensure the delivery of the BSI Group vision. Establish an effective process for identifying future client needs, demands and market trends that will form BSI product and service development priorities at cluster or country level. Develop and agree accurate financial trading forecasts together with FD and MD and all functional areas, taking responsibility for meeting expectations of forecast accuracy Manage the accurate creation and timely reporting of business sales performance to the MD and wider parts of BSI, as part of the defined governance process Establish and maintain appropriate links with people in similar roles across Group, including aspects specifically coordinated through the Global business streams, to facilitate exchange of data, information, knowledge and best practice

The geographic scope of the role covers France and is based at the business’s offices in Paris.
