About You

We’re looking for a skilled Key Account Manager to oversee the relationships with our key accounts within France. You will possess a strong ability in building trusted relationships and demonstrate skills in obtaining and maintaining long term key customers by comprehending their requirements. You will have a demonstrable track record in meeting strategic and operational objectives, be an excellent listener and able to quickly identify opportunities to promote our company’s solutions and drive customer satisfaction. Contributing in sustaining and growing our business to achieve long-term success.


Purpose of role
Perform a pivotal role in our French sales team with responsibility for developing, facilitating and implementing all aspects of sales and marketing strategies relative to those Key Accounts in relation to existing customers and prospects and to represent and manage the allocated OEM relationships that CDK has with Passenger Car and Truck within France. Protect and extend these strategically and operationally important client relationships to provide a high level of service and satisfaction. Work closely with key matrix relationships including Product Marketing, Product Management, R&D, etc. to deliver against the agreed strategic and operational objectives.


You will be responsible for:
Signing new key accounts both Private Dealer Groups and OEM The maximization of sales and profit through the sales of software & related CDK Services against an agreed set of Key Account Plans or operational plan The achievement of monthly, quarterly and annual sales targets Maintaining and growing existing baseline recurring revenue Meeting those sales targets through professional diligence in meeting the needs of the key accounts, maintaining complete customer satisfaction and applying the CDK Sales strategy/model to generate increased share of wallet.
Key Duties & Other Responsibilities:
Assume day-to-day management of a set of Key Accounts and all related sales activities, including but not limited to: o Regular account management contact frequency
o Meeting customers and identifying needs, value propositions for additional products/services
o Working on solutions with various CDK departments
o Providing value proposition and offers to accounts
o Closing commercial, contractual terms
To be the primary point of contact for the allocated Manufacturers / Importers / Dealer Groups in all matters pertaining to CDK’s relationship and on occasions Dealer Associations Create and cultivate new OEM / Importer relationships as required to drive CDK revenue and profit Be the conduit for relaying OEM strategies and their impact on CDK back through the CDK organization Be the conduit for relaying CDK strategies to the OEMs and look for areas of opportunity for both parties incorporating the dealers as key stakeholders To produce comprehensive Strategic (1-3 years) and Annual Sales Plans / Key Account Plans based on detailed Whitespace analysis and DSI Key Account Plan Formats. Build, develop and retain strong relationships with owners / management teams and employees of the allocated accounts as per contact map. To formulate strategies for strengthening assigned accounts and maximizing the company’s potential to establish business partnerships. Implement and utilize fully the CDK Sales Model & Core Processes Managed inbound requests for product development from Manufacturers / Importers and within the established framework prioritize these in line with resource availability whilst respecting CDK’s strategic and operating plans and product development processes


Skills / Knowledge & Experience
Proven experience as key account manager Experience in sales and providing solutions based on customer needs Strong communication and interpersonal skills with aptitude in building relationships with professionals of all organizational levels Excellent organizational skills Ability in problem-solving and negotiation BSc/BA in business administration, sales or relevant field Fluent in English & French
