Now hiring a Pre-Sales Engineer based in France working closely with our Europe Sales team. Added bonus, you can work from home some days during the week! We are ready to support our clients on their journey to connectivity with face-to-face meetings and training, therefore the preferred location is Paris.

How You'll Help us Connect The World

We look for a self-starter individual to provide specific solutions/technology/product consulting, technical and sales support, and performing in-depth and high-level technical presentations for customers, partners and prospects.

Your ability to get out on the field and meet and greet all our channel partners will be key to your success in the role. We need an agile individual ready for getting up to speed on the technical onboarding process, feeling technically knowledgeable and confident on the Commscope Building Connectivity Infrastructure solution offering.

You play a relevant role in supporting all CommScope SYSTIMAX & NETCONNECT sales and marketing activities, having the opportunity to work with other departments such Sales, Marketing, PLM acting as technical lead for key/strategic scope for the company. Direct account and partner responsibilities for selected accounts in France.

On top of this, expectations for this challenge include driving the development of formal sales plans and proposals for assigned opportunities, providing consultative support, mentor less experienced members in the team when required, and becoming a knowledge reference by senior management, peers, and customers.

Required Qualifications for Consideration

Working experience (7+ years) in structured cabling system design in France including Data Center functional areas (MDA, HDA, EDA, ZDA, EF) and familiarity with European industry trends.

Professional knowledge in building, electrical, and data-communication codes and regulations (e.g. NEC, CSA, IBC)

Expertise in local structured cabling standards (e.g. CENELEC, ISO 11801)

Proficient in French at all levels, written and spoken, and a good level of English.

You Will Excite Us If You Have

Good understanding of LAN/WAN systems and physical media requirements, including wireless applications.

Good understanding of Fiber Data Center Technologies as ODF, FACT, Design Best Practices.

Current industry technical certification (imVision, SYSTIMAX, Netconnect,Data Center Dynamics, FTTH, BICSI)
