Eastman’s Chemical Intermediate’s Division sells excess intermediates beyond the Company’s specialty needs. Major markets served are industrial chemicals and processing, building and construction, health and wellness and agrochemicals. The products that are produced by our customers are found in everyday products like pharmaceuticals, artificial sweeteners, fungicides & herbicides, medical tubing, flooring, etc.

This is the Role
As Account Manager, you are responsible for executing the Chemical Intermediates business strategy at the customer level by enabling customer success and optimizing volume, revenue, and margin growth. To effectively accomplish this, you prioritize efforts across the assigned territory in Europe. You generate demand by navigating broadly and deeply within the customer's organization. You gain critical insights on what drives value at the customer and into the customer’s buying process. You develop account strategies which align with our business strategies. Your customer base is mainly concentrated in France, other countries might be added. Travel frequency of 50 to 70% is anticipated.
Furthermore, you capture and share critical insights via our CRM tool (SalesForce.com). You will maintain a rolling 24-month forecast supported by key assumptions pertaining to market trend and drivers, our customer’s plans and competitive behavior.

You are the reference and the repository of all knowledge related to your customers. Through a systematic approach in full collaboration with Product Management, Technology, Marketing, Supply Chain and Leadership you will communicate and mobilize the different parts of the organization with as aim to maximize the value creation of your territory in the short, mid and long term in a win-win spirit with your customers.

This is who you are
You are a result oriented Sales professional with the required skills to properly interact with different roles within the customer organization as well as within the Eastman organization. You are creative to find solutions and obtain a win-win for the customer and Eastman. To be successful in this role, you will need a relentless drive and a bias for action. Furthermore, you bring a highly-developed commercial acumen, contracting experience and strong communication and collaboration skills.
Minimum of 5 years of Account Management experience in a B2B environment
Proven track record of successfully developing Accounts
You feel comfortable working in a global matrix organization.
A Technical or Scientific BSc or MSc is preferred.
Fluent communication skills in English, French. Other European languages are a plus.
Experience in using CRM systems like SalesForce.com
