Overview

The Oncology Sales Manager will cover the part of French Africa and will be responsible for increasing profitable market share of Linear accelerators and Brachy therapy in his/her region. This includes the definition and implementation of the product sales strategy, training Elekta distributors and managing key customer relations to achieve the defined sales and margin targets. The Oncology Sales Manager is also responsible for generating revenue in line with the individual targets set for the region and manages the Linac and Barchy business success of the French Africa regions. The successful candidate will work closely with Product Marketing, Service, Education department and Order Fulfillment teams to achieve sales revenue generation in line with Company targets whilst maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction. Due to the region covered by this role, French language skills is a MUST.


Responsibilities

Develop New Opportunities jointly with distributors Assess , forecast and create the Oncology market I his/her Territory Achieve sales , revenue and Margin targets Drive sales and marketing activities to achieve the highest customer satisfaction Define and report the market potential and needs for Elekta products Train the distributors and the sales specialist Identify all opportunities for new client development and develop a short, medium and long term strategy for conversion. Identify opportunities to expand product portfolio into existing customer sites, plan and document a process from needs identification to client conversion. Develop product sales strategy to increase sales of Elekta products into customer sites, working alongside Marketing to create sales campaigns and marketing literature to support same Develop new and established Oncologists and physicists relationships including distributor partnerships where relevant Make sure that customers are satisfied with Elekta products and are using it to its full potential Report activities, prospective sales, actual orders and sales, customer projects and business opportunities/threats as requested by the management team Actively interact with other functions and operations within the Elekta Group to ensure timely delivery of products as well as giving active market input to the product development process

Qualifications and Required Values

Strong ethical standards, values and good judgement Highly Collaborative behavior Mobile and capability to travel + 60% of the time Bachelors Degree or higher (science, clinical or business-oriented) or equivalent knowledge acquired through business experience is essential Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English are essential Excellent verbal and written communication skills in French essentıal Proven track record of achieving personal and team based sales performance targets within the capital goods markets is essential 5-10 Years of marketing and direct sales experience in a Oncology treatment provider is essential Experience in sales of capital intensive medical equipment, preferably related to radiotherapy field is essential Ability to effectively interact directly with customers across all disciplines (hospital management and administrators, local politicians, oncologists and other medical staff, technologists and medical physicists Ability to influence key managers to help achieve objectives Medical physics specialized in radiotherapy Strong knowledge / understanding of Indirect/Distributor Marketing and Sales is essential Strong knowledge /understanding of Elekta´s product portfolio is essential Radiotherapy physics hands-on experience is essential Solid knowledge and experience of the medical devices industry generally
