The Role
At Emarsys, you will play a pivotal role in supporting regional business development to open new markets and target new potential clients. You will introduce and promote Emarsys' products through a mix of warm and cold leads by following up with warm and cold calls or virtual meetings. You will work closely with Emarsys regional marketing team to generate and nurture a pipeline of qualified sales leads and assist Sales Managers in closing business deals.
An ideal candidate possesses a high level of learning agility, persistence, competitiveness partnered with a keen interest in technology and digital marketing. YOUR AREA OF RESPONSIBILITIES
Identify, qualify, nurture and follow up on own opportunities.Build relationships via email and phone to generate own appointments, leads and manage pipeline.Comfortable in discussing and influencing decision makers over the telephone about their business marketing issues and operations.Use Emarsys products to demonstrate our product capabilities to potential clients via web access.Consistently and regularly use salesforce.com to provide timely and accurate forecasting and reporting of activity.Follow the established sales process.Appropriately engage management and staff in the sales cycle and provide on-going feedback to other areas of the organisation.YOUR PROFILE
Up to two (2) years in a similar role with a successful track record in which the candidate met or exceeded quota—measured in calls/day, appointments/week, qualification of opportunities, etc.Experience in a selling environment focused on SaaS with a significant volume of outbound activity.Excellent negotiation and influencing skills.Willingness to learn and succeed in a high-earning software sales environment.Recent experience in software technology, email, marketing automation, business intelligence, CRM software a plus.Technical ability to understand overall presentations, demo, competitive differentiation and answer the standard initial questions.Must have a strong desire to keep up-to-date on technology trends, developments & best practices.Must have a high level of energy with a very positive phone demeanour.Good general understanding of business processes.Outstanding communication skills, both in writing and verbally.WHAT WE OFFER
