To support our growing sales teams, to be based in France - Partner Development Manager, Network Service Providers (m/f)


What is the role about?

In this position you will build and develop the NSP channel business for the French sales territory and by that identify, prospect and generate new business for all EQUINIX verticals. You will expand sales footprint through existing and new partnerships, leverage partners’ existing relationships with end users, package complimentary services to drive mutually beneficial sales. Focus is to drive “sell through” and “sell with” relationships with the Partners.


Your principal job responsibilities will be:

Manage a list of Network Service Providers as agreed between local sales leadership, Channel Team, and Global Channel organization. Examples include: Orange Business Services, SFR, BT, AT&T, Verizon, Vodafone Develop go-to-market plan together with France Channel Lead, France Sales Director, EMEA NSP Leader and Global team Become the Subject Matter Expert on the Equinix-NSP Partner proposition. Drive that message internally (sales team, channel team) and externally to the channel eco-system Per need, identify local NSPs, recruit them and manage them With support from technical presales / architect, develop joint solutions with the partners, build a comprehensive Go to Market plan and drive execution locally Documentation of channel partner forecasting and activity with accurate records Conducting sales presentations with his/her partners to customers and prospects Liaising with other Equinix departments in order to secure new business Drive and respond to partner pipeline opportunities Coordinate teaming with regionally deployed direct sales reps as needed Actively contributing to the recruitment, enablement of existing or new partners Attending relevant networking events with partners Owner of channel deal registration process for the segment

Who are you?

Extensive experience in channel/partner development roles Demonstrable track record of building channel business successfully in a fast-growing environment. Key relationships with numerous Network Service Providers in France (as per list above) is a big plus An understanding of partner and Alliance Management Relevant Industry Knowledge with Telcos, System Integrators, Datacenter Providers or Hardware providers is a plus Understanding of business procedures in Finance, Marketing, Procurement, business planning and contract management Ability to influence business leaders (internally and externally) Fluent in French and English in speaking and writing Intercultural understanding and global cooperation ability Excellent interpersonal & negotiation skills Transparent in Communication, pro-active communication behavior Someone who understands that Equinix invent / create a channel model and that the traditional channel models are not totally replicable in our industry Someone ultra-motivated by the challenge of this role, by the castle that we are building together and the market to conquer A profile of contributor: someone who wants to produce and deliver his/her numbers Able and willing to travel
