Candidate must have experience leading and motivating teams. The inside sales manager will be responsible for our inside sales and technical support teams. The teams manage inbound and outbound sales as well as sales development driving lead conversion to closed/won revenue growth for existing and new products in North America. The support team manages post and pre-sales support for end users, sales engineers and distribution partners.
The inside sales manager is responsible for hiring and coaching, and should have experience in and understand the importance of hiring A-players every time.
The ideal candidate will demonstrate skills in driving a solution-centric mindset and defining value propositions around customer applications.
Responsibilities:
Manage Technical Support team leader.
Manage inside sales (ISS), sales development (SDR) and sales administrative team.
Hire and train A-players for the team that can act as the talent pipeline for the sales and marketing organizations.
Set and track sales revenue, leads, opportunities and close/won targets for the ISS and SDR team.
Effectively resolve application and technical questions for Fluke customers.
Utilize Fluke’s CRM system (Dynamics) to report, monitor and call out gaps to revenue targets, then take corrective actions.
Analyze and Manage team productivity, make recommendation and process improvements and develop sales tools to drive cadence across the teams.
Work with ISS team holding them accountable for their revenue, lead and opportunity targets, while keeping the team motivated.
Work closely with the Regional Sale Managers, Technical Support, Service Sales Engineers, Key Account managers to align revenue targets, lead generation and close/won.
Execute demand generation campaigns created by the Global Marketing group to drive leads and close / won revenue from the targets.
Analyze and determine impact of digital marketing campaign effectiveness and make decision to expand, modify or end the program.
Partner with Marketing Automation and Digital team to develop programs including nurture tracks, scoring programs and contact groups. Use the output of these programs to develop new campaigns and further understand customer needs.
Develop and present training to inside sales teams on sales tactics, market strategies, supporting campaigns, and sales tools to improve productivity.
Use marketing strategies and tactics to increase customer profile completeness. Develop best practices on database marketing strategies and making customer’s visibility stronger to allow advance marketing actions (target message).
Own customer satisfaction score for post sales team.
A Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Engineering, Business Administration, or equivalent experience is required. MBA is preferred.
Excellent communications skills (oral and written) required; must be able to interact with and convince both internal and external customers.
5-8+ years of experience with an inside selling team. Marketing, product planning or product management experience a plus.
Strong knowledge of database management, reporting, analysis needed.
Experience with industrial products, sales, and training preferred.
Ability to successfully translate needs into products; experience with outcome driven innovation preferred.
Proven business development and growth is a plus.
Ability to travel 25% of the time
